Here, no vehicles are allowed except for a few tractors. You’ll discover, in peace, this island surrounded by a dozen of pink orange rocky islets. Do not miss the sight at sundown when the islets are ablaze…Pleasant and cheerful, the south end of the island is made of tiny gardens planted with hydrangeas, fig trees, mimosas and eucalyptus. The north side is more tortured with its heath land and wild coves.

Nature
The north part has remained the wildest part of the island with its heath landscapes and its shingle bars. The archipelago and its wide shores at low tide offers great breeding and wintering grounds for a rich and varied avifauna : terns, oystercatchers, curlew and other sandpipers.
